The rice husks oven

Clean and efficient stoves
The rice husks oven is a local technology that must contribute to the reduction of consumption in biomass-energy of 97%, and helps to reduce the pressure on land cover and to preserve the environment. In Niger, rice farmers have found a solution to the use of wood, steaming rice as 17,000 tons are produced annually. They now use rice husks as fuel hulls replacing firewood. The advantage of this innovative invention is that it allows full use of the shells because the ash is also used in agriculture as a fertilizer and it’s scientifically demonstrated. In Niger, the project is supported by a young structure of youth, Niger JVE (Young Volunteers for the Environment) which works zealously for the respect of environment.
