Deforestation

An indigenous woman looks for mollusk and seashell in one of the mangrove swamps that has not been destroyed for shrimp farming. This land is also her community’s ancestral land. The mangroves here will be forever lost if the destruction is continued. Our younger generations will lose out on all the beauty of this land and the ecosystem and resources that it supports.
