Tippy tap at Fort Rixon school

Access to clean water is a challenge at Fort Rixon which is the dry south of the country. They thus have to find clever ways of solving their problems. In order to ensure water and sanitation for the children the school installed tippy taps at the school toilets so the students can wash their hands when coming from the toilets. When they step on the strip the bottle tips and water comes out. The children can then wash their hands without having to touch the bottle in any way thereby ensuring the water and their hands remain clean.
