Sensibilisation

For the last five years climate ambassadors in Muchinga and other nine provinces have been working on several projects and programs trying to address climate change impacts. In Muchinga (Mpika) the ambassadors through UNICEF have under gone several capacity building trainings equipping them with skills and knowledge on the issues of climate. Some of the major activities have been tree nursery establishment and distribution to community schools. Sensitization activities have been done in over 20 schools addressing the importance of planting trees how earth benefits from. A total of over 2000 pupils have directly benefited from the project. This year over 2500 small plants were given out to members of public and schools were environmental conservation clubs have been created.
