Damage from pollution

We were on Rue Saint-Claude where it crosses the Boulevard Beaumarchais in the 3rd arrondissement. The photo shows a church wall. We wanted to somehow show the pollution that exists in Paris with these photos of the walls. We chose these ones because they show the contrast between the white wall and the black stain on it, which shows the pollution through air particles. This is a problem as it damages buildings.
