Covering more than 3000 hectares, this is one of many scenes that occur in Sabah. Although palm oil is one of the major contributor the country’s economic developments, the massive clearing of forest for palm oil plantation causing forest/habitats fragmentation and creates many issues such as human-wildlife conflict. One day, palm oil plantation may replace forest in Sabah.
